  2. Hey Remy, just one last question about Montreal 1985

So the version you have uploaded is exactly that version ("soundboard upgrade") which is available on u2torrents?
  3. Remy,
your copy of the 1985-3-27 show is MUCH better - thanks for uploading it....

It's the version with the UF and Bad I uploaded earlier, you said the bass was a little different than on the sample wasn't it? Don't know where I got it, so maybe the release on U2torrents is a little bit adjusted.
  6. 1987-07-08 - Brussels - Has to be upped to a 4 star. Listen to tThe Unforgettable Fire and tell me thats not a 4 star.
  7. 1985-04-08 Landover Maryland.

This is a 4-star recording, not 3. Compare it with other 4-stars like Los Angeles and New York 85 and see that they are worse.

The sound on Landover is arguably even better than Daly City (more crowd noise, but absolutely no "hollow" or distant sound, all frequency levels are very good).

Even achtungbootlegs says sound is excellent, it;s a very nice recording, excellent audience hands down.

Edit: Now, after I have listented carefully, I must admit that this recording is probably 3.5, not 4. But still it's much better than Los angeles and New York, at least rate them 3.
  8. 2005-11-02 - Rated as a 2 but definatley a 3 and a half, maybe even a 4. Its at least and excellent 3 star or a not bad 4. Decide for yourself Remy but needs more than a 2
  9. Sorry guys for the delay but my PC is totally crashed last week, I lost all my data (luckily my music was on an external drive) and such so it will take a few more days till I process and verify these new ratings

Your whole computer crashed? Sorry, I know what it's like. Luckily your music was backed up. When
my last computer crashed I lost everything, including my music. Now I have everything backed
    up on my external drive.

Yeah I was almost elektrocuted, it was really close, if I had moved 20 centimeters at one moment I was dead, I had some voltage and power issues with the power supply. I was trying to fix it but something went terribly wrong (I could never know that), (probably) resulting in the fact that it destroyed my motherboard, my harddisk and half of my internal memory. My friend, a real PC guru and electrician told me he had never seen anything like it, so much destroyed in one time. We never found a real explanation.

But I can replace anything except for the content hard disk, I lost all my data since the last backup (december). And indeed, luckily I have my music somewhere else. And the new U2start is luckily already safe and well somewhere on a webserver

From now on I will regularly back-up my stuff to a webserver, it'll be safe there.
