I was wondering does anyone know when Bono puts in the Life During Wartime lyrics in this song.Were they deleted from the cd version? I just listened to the cd version and I didn't hear it, at least I don't think I did. Thanks so much for the help.

On the Mexico DVD, the snippet is present. I don't know why or if they went through the trouble to edit them out for Hasta La Veista, but idk.

just for the record, Life During Wartime is my favorite snippet for Discothèque.

Yeah I know I'm going to watch some of the dvd version of that today to see if its in there.

I'm guessing that the "Life In Wartime" snippet was added merely for the "This Ain't No Disco" line.

Good stuff. Bono is notorious for adding bits of others tunes into live versions of U2 songs. ("Love Will Tear Us Apart" being added to "With Or Without You" springs to mind.)
