  1. Was just listening again to Two Shots of Happy One Shot of Sad from December 1995...
    Hell, it's only 1,5 years from Popmart tour, but his voice was SO MUCH different from Popmart *whispering*.
    I have a question - does anybody know WHY Bono's voice did change so dramatically and only during 1,5 year period?
  2. I'd like to add another question - Does anybody know why people keep believing that Bono's voice during the Popmart tour was significantly worse than on the other tours?
  3. Can you say that during Popmart tour Bono's voice was NOT significantly worse than on ZooTv, Lovetown and all previous tours in general? I am not talking about later tours like Elevation and Vertigo.
    Popmart's Bono did not have any strength in vocals, except maybe just a few shows.
    Compare Popmart Bono with this performance of Two shots... and feel the difference. And this is only 1.5 years difference! So how could his voice change that much...

    Sarajevo and early American shows did for him. But you know that......

    Because it was. I'm not saying his voice was crap. I'm not saying there were not great nights. But his voice causes him, by his own admissions, a lot of problems on that tour.

    It was during the late `90's (probably post-Popmart) that he learned that some of his allergies were affecting his voice. (no doubt the smoking a bit too).
