1. It will be amazing to see a U2 show recorded with HD machines, in Blu-Ray discs. Does anyone agree with me!?

  2. yes yes yes
  3. Well, they've already done that. I think you mean you want them to release concerts etc in HD.

  4. I (we) want to see the new official show released (next tour) with a perfect image, in 80 GB discs that supports riches of details

a blu ray release of the next tour dvd should be a certainty. At least it better be. I was dissapointed by the image quality of the Chicago DVD. That one would look great on blu ray, as would Popmart Mexico. If they can redo R&H on blu ray (badly might I add) i'm sure they could have a go at remastering past releases. Time consuming though

If you saw the Sony trailers of blu-ray in the stores, (film of Sydney,Gran turismo HD),you will know what I'm talking about
  7. guess I'll have to get a blu-ray player one of these days

  8. pffff... See: I'm my country, there are few movies in these media, and the Ps3 is not configured to play the brazilian disc

  9. I haven't bought a standard DVD since I went blu ray. Standard DVD literally looks like divx to my eyes after using blu ray for the past year.

I'm assuming eventually blu ray will be the dominant medium, as vhs' once were

  11. thats the plan but I can't see it. In the current economic climate replacing your dvd player for another player (that looks exaclty the same but costs more) then replacing all of your movies with the same movies on the same size disc (that cost more) for a debatable increase in quality isn't gonna work.

    I love it though

wat the difference of the Divx to the DVD video!?
the things goes better if you use a Hd cable or S-video(videocomponent)
