But in all reality, I'm 99% sure there will be a pre-sale (different than the one offered to U2.com members, if that actually happens)...usually the day before tickets "officially" go on sale. Lots of bands do it. For instance, your local radio station will give out a presale code that works on the ticketmaster website.

SO i will hear about it here first

  2. right, but the u2.com code SHOULD (theoretically) give you access before any promotional codes given out by radio stations.

    I don't have the money for a u2.com subsription
  4. This is where being a U2.com member comes in handy (every 4 years a tour comes around.....sounds like an election year doesn't it?)
  5. got another question

since im from Croatia, and u2 deffo wont tour here, does that lower my chances to buy a ticket (with or without u2.com subscription) or it doesnt matter where ure from when ur buyin a ticket? (i was thinking to buy tickets for a italian show, or smt close to me, if it makes any difference..)
  6. im doing a similar kind of thing.when tickets are released im not going to be as fussy about where they are going to play or what date.

if you just concentrated on one venue and one particular day, then youre chances on a general sale are 50/50.

i think if you are more free with where you want to see them, then i expect youre chances will be better.

at least thats what im hoping for anyway.

sounds great, but quite a bit difficult here in the US. At least in the Western US.

Good point - last tour I went to Dublin, Amsterdam and Barcelona as well as London - can honestly saw in terms of atmosphere and concert Barcelona was the best by a mile.

Good thing was that the gig started at around 10pm so you got the full effect of the light show right from the start instead of halfway through the concert.....I will be going back this year and if you are looking to go into Europe I cannot recommend it highly enough.
