1. musicians (harry, jeff, nick, alex, etc and anyone i forgot lol)...ASSEMBLE!!!!!! lol

this review is funny but where dies he get off syin the melody is the same as REM ITEOTWAWKI.

there not similar at all...what a cook lol guys agree?
  2. it is a good performace, i just dont like the song, too poppy and not real u2-ish, looks like the popmart tour again. hope they go back to propper rock to be honest.

    performance 9/10, song 5/10

thats what makes u2 so f-ing great live, they take their songs to the next level, making them more exciting and amazing, it would get kinda boring if they played a song exactly how it was recorded on the album. 1st performance of boots and their already mixing things up, its great.
  4. that was good where he kicks his leg out like the start of the zoo tv performace in sydney in 1993, looks ace, back to the good stuff, hopefully, dont mind if they miss off the flashing screens like on popmart tho. cant wait for proper concert

Yes, it doesn't sound anything like ITEOTWAWKI. The author was just looking for something to fill space for his/her rant imo.

  6. anyone have any idea what Larry was hitting during the "let me in the sound" part? It very well could just be another snare, but why would he stand up and turn around to do it? I was really surprised to see him standing up during that part. I guess we can potentially find this out during the Brits depending on the camera angles, just thought that was interesting....that part wasn't as strong as i was expecting, but we'll see how the Brits turn out
  7. Just watched the performance for the 2nd time. I'm thinking that they'll rearrange Larry's drum part a bit, because he plays just the bongos for a majority of the song. Kind of lame.
  8. Why can't he use an electronic drum kit, like in the studio version?
  9. Well, GOYB is just one song out of 23 in a setlist, they wouldn't set up an electronic kit only for one song, and a full drumming kit for the rest...

    Coldplay does.
