1. The Fly is definitely in there. Almost the exact riff.

    B-side version is better though
  2. I prefer the album version. Just the improvement of Bono's voice played at the right speed is reason enough. It sounds also less UTEOTW-ish to me. Less groove, more atmosphere.

  3. I prefer the album, but find it to be underwhelming, its no streets. It will likely improve in time though.
  4. Album version is a million times better, it blew me away. The riff is quite like The Fly/ End of the World/ Ultraviolet....I'll forgive them

What The Fly said - great song; album version definitely better (but I liked the B-side already)

  6. i like the b-side version a lot better now, now that I know what the album version is....without the album version it was out of context. Album version has more atmosphere to it....b-side is a great raw take on it though

  7. i'm not sure yet....wich one i like better!!

i think that i prefer the album version, on the other hand i really liked the b-side...
but i want to believe that i prefer the album verion!!
  8. Think i prefer the album version just because they got rid of that atrocious NO!!!! LINE!!!!! NO LINE!!!! part,

  9. Yeah, the album version has more subdued choruses and doesn't have the great coda of 2.
This robs the song of much of its energy.
  10. i just piked up on the fly riff, i like this version more, the build ups then BANG, back into the song.

Thats the part I miss that the album version should have. Although it would sound better with just the "No" part, and without "Lines"
but the drums are much better in version 2. And I read Bono prefered 2 over 1
