This is the man behind Elvis Presley and America after all.

you should listen to songs with open ears for once. might discover a lot of good songs; like EPAA, after all.
  2. Maybe, its my tendency to like really long songs, but I think it might make my top ten easily. If they don't play it live I'm going to be pissed. Also, I think they could snippet Surrender while playing it.

    they'll totally play it
  4. Wonder what kind of atmosphere this would project live

  5. I probably listen to U2 songs more closely than many people do.

Elvis Presley and America is a good experiment, but to say that an impromptu song recorded in one take, has more artistic achievement than something like WTSHNN (with it's arduous production process) is ridiculous.

did anyone compare WTSHNN & EPAA?

  7. No, I was using it as an example.

Some people were saying EPAA was a good song.

I was highlighting the similarities between MoS and EPAA (though MoS is obviously better) and how while they may be conceived in unusual ways, they may not have the same level of artistic achievement as other works which have been laboured over (like WTSHNN or One)

  10. Quite a few people seem to, I'm stumped as to why.
Seems like a long string of gibberish to me.

I bet his favourite song off VLV is Chinese Sleep Chant, because it was written under hypnosis.

You'd be surprised what his favourite VLV track is. It's not Chinese Sleep Chant...

"They... run...see say you're sad and reach by, so say you're sad above beside, oh stay sad above beside, so stay sad above we said"

You do not call that genius? It makes perfect sense...
