1. I noticed this and thought it was just a crap MP3 encode. Nope.

  2. It might be there because of Eno's sample they used...I don't know. Find it rather strange.
  3. I finally heard it...you must have really good ears to hear that
Doesn't take away anything from the beauty of this song
  4. That background "designer" fuzz in Cedars is obviously mean't to be there.

  5. Turn it up and you'll hear it. I wonder if because the track was recorded so low. So the leak we got all those weeks ago was pretty much indicative of the actual record.
  6. ahh what an impprovement the lossless is
  7. That sucks, the col distortion
  8. ignore this
  9. Finally listened on headphones to the uncompressed audio on the cd

Is it correct that Unknown Caller is a live recording? Still, there seem to be a lot of overdubs on it.

And you can hear a distorted Fender Rhodes piano in the left channel where around 1.53 the player hits a wrong note Well, in my opinion that is. It's on the moment Bono sings the "ing" from "dawning"

But what I find most interesting is the very very nice bass playing Adam does throughout the album. Man has he grown technically and musically!
