  1. Well, it's that time again...

    Well, tonight is the 81st Oscars. Also known as Hollywood's biggest party.

    Hugh Jackman will be hosting, which I am actually up for seeing.

    I will be keeping updates throughout the show. Good luck to me.

  4. I could be going to an Oscar party but I have to work. Oh well. I think Doubt, Benjamin Button, and Slumdog are all worthy of some awards. and Milk of course,which i have yet to see
  5. I'll try and watch it, for the beauty of Hugh Jackman alone it's gonna be hard, though, since the braodcast starts at 2am in the night here

  8. Now, I LOVE films and would also love to see Slumdog walk away with a skipful of Oscars, but... I can't watch these ceremonies - they're just so full of self-congratulatory arse kissing/**** that they're unwatchable, especially this one. The 'hilarious' jokes given to those presenting the awards to deliver, the asinine acceptance speeches, the fake humility of nominees who don't win, the amount of time given to the actors' clothing... Waste of time, money and effort.
