The key is picking songs that you know will appeal to them. Like every teenage girl should listen to OOTS, because it's directed to them lol. In A Little While is a good one, because it's such a pretty and simple cong lol Still Haven't Found, With or Without You, Pride, Mysterious Ways, Sweetest Thing, SBS, Beautiful Day, Elevation and Vertigo are good starters for someone trying to get into U2, because they aren't too out there, and they're all catchy enough And Kite is a beautiful song, so everyone should like it lol
