I'm doing good, thanks. A little tired, but good. Just finishing a pedalboard and guitar shopping... what are you up to?

I just recently found out that my RP70 can make Single Coils sound like Humbuckers and vice versa... so I'm a pretty happy person right now as far as guitars are concerned lol...![]()
That's cool, what things have you got on there so far? I'm not doing much at the moment, which is why I am here.

But have I told you that I am now taking a college course?

That's sweet. As long as it sounds like real humbuckers, don't bother adding a humbucker. They're not always worth the money, IMO. Did I tell you i got rid of my Tele?? I traded it in and picked up a Jaguar and a Univox Hi-Flyer in exchange. I'll just post a pic of the pedalboard sometime, because I'm too lazy to write out all of the names of the effects. lol
That's awesome.... what college course is it?

I'm not sure exactly how close it sounds to a real one, but it does sound a lot more like Edge when he uses guitar with humbuckers...That's about as detailed as I can get lol
That's cool!!!
I was figuring that...

I signed up a bit late, so my only option was Public Speaking.... which I am loving. It's actually easier than many of my actual classes lol.
It counts as both a college credit, and an honors class, so that's awesome as well

Well, to be completely honest, humbuckers aren't always as great as people say they are. Sometimes they can be a little too screechy for my taste. But, I'm usually playing second guitar, so I prefer a more "thumpy" sound. My friend Aaron, who plays lead guitar, loves them though. They're great for soloing, but not for power chords, etc.
Public speaking is always a fun class. That's great that it counts for Honors and college.

I noticed that with Breathe...Overall, I think that they sound better than single coils... but you are right on about the power chords, et al.
I love it lol... we get to read diction papers out loud at the end of class!Which is more fun that it sounds lol
I'm thinking about doing my speech to inform on U2 (seriously)
That will be awesome, but they won't be able to get me to shut up!

I actually prefer single coils for rhythm. Basically, when I've recorded songs that I've written, I'll do one track with my single coil guitars, and then I'll add another track of just the solo, and that's usually played on one of my humbucker guitars.
That would be great to do a speech on U2. I did one a while back, and it went great. It's definitely not a boring subject.
