  4. Because it makes it seem more complicated than it actually is if they use jargon. And hence marketers seem smarter, because they use fancy words (eg dissonance reducing buying behaviour) to describe things instead of everyday ones.

  8. Oh, yeah Gore got 500,000 more votes than Bush, but because it's on a state by state basis not total votes, he lost. Still doesn't explain Bush was elected a second time though

    Yeah, fuckin' Florida As for 04, it's because they used stuff like Sept. 11th to help out Bush's campaign, because Karl Rove is an evil genius Also, he ran against John Kerry, who doesn't put up a big amount of competition McCain should have been the Republican candidate in 2000, maybe he would have done a better job
    No, he works for the federal gov I don't know much about it.He's no Homer Simpson either, the only similarity is the belly

    Yeah, politics is screwed up. The world would be a very different place today if Florida hadn't stuffed up.

    Honestly, people forget that Gore sucks too I say we put Clinton back in!
    I have no idea what he does, I think it's something in the Department of Agriculture He's very hush hush about his job, so yeah, he's probably building nukes

    If you don't like desk jobs, why don't you become a reporter or foreign correspondent or something? Or get a job working for Lonely Planet?
