    This thread was to note the progress of the thirteenth U2 studio album, tentatively known as 'Songs Of Ascent'. It was released under the proper title of 'Songs Of Innocence' in 2014.

    RELEASE DATES
    LP13 was rumoured to be released late 2013, however it eventually saw a digital release on September 9 2014 and a physical release on October 13 2014 on both vinyl and 1 CD or 2 CD configurations.

    Possible producers included Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois and Danger Mouse with mention of will.i.am and RedOne.

    The final listed producers are Danger Mouse, Ryan Tedder, Paul Epworth, Declan Gaffney and Flood.

    At a special Apple Event, U2 appear at the event to announce their thirteenth studio album called 'Songs Of Innocence' in partnership with Apple. It automatically appeared in many iTunes music libraries, whether it was wanted or not.
