1. Larry's drums into breathe wil do nicely but the will probably go with boots which wil be rubbish !!!

  2. Agreed, Boots is way way way over rated by the band
  3. It will be Breathe

  4. Bono can change the openings line for every show. For example the first night. '30th of June, 9 0'5 doorbell rings..'

    Way too cool
  6. I'm with the GOYB train of thought and the Brits/Grammy-style intro., purely because it makes sense what with the band keeping faith in what they see as a tried-and-trusted formula (i.e. a lead single getting the show underway) - whether you think it's a good idea or not, another story entirely. I was thinking about Being Born working well, would certainly be a different approach, kinda like Zoo Station - that wasn't a single or anything, but damn it was a good curtain-raiser. Don't think anything will ever eclipse Mofo though...Breathe would be ok, but I feel it would be more suitable as a big set-piece á la Streets. Nothing really strikes me as a standout candidate in the same way something like Zoo Station, Streets or Mofo etc. did, and it would be interesting if they didn't open with a NLOTH track, but I can't see it. Now I think about it, NLOTH itself might be worth a giggle...assuming they hit on a format that really gets the crowd energised.
  7. I bet on No Line on the Horizon (the song ).

Or the obvious choices, the singles we have so far.
  8. Doubt they will play it, but was listening to stand up comedy earlier and thought it could be a possible opener. A little far fetched perhaps.

  9. Oh God, please, no.

  10. I think NLOTH 2 would work very well..........getting the crowd to sing No!...........Line!.......No!..............Line! etc....

    Synchronization Fail assured

  12. haha....must admit i had to practice a few times in my head!!

Would separate those in the crowd who can count and those who can't!!
