1. Discontinued on release day, still no video, no promotion, patchy releases. My god.

  2. How can a not-yet released CD be discontinued?
  3. I give up!
  4. Where did it all go wrong in the U2-camp?

  5. Between Edge building mansions in Malibu and Bono interviewing Hollywood actors, are their minds on the task at hand? It has to be asked.
  6. Yeah. Magnificent could easily be #1 in several countries but without any proper promotion (release date of single, no video). Maybe this is one of the biggest miss-steps of U2 in their career.
  7. This whole campaign sucks hard. First single gets bad rap, terrible audio mastering, delayed and discontinued singles, no promotion, delayed video, leak from their own record label store, terrible U2.com launch and bugs...I wonder what is next - tour getting postponed? And some said the promotion for Pop was bad...
  8. Is this their 13th album by any chance?

The good news is this somewhat stalled state that we're in can be undone. It's not too late to turn things around. All it takes is positive reception to their second single and an awesome launch of their tour including a cracking tour opener in Barcelona.
  10. It is too late for Magnificent I am afraid. Radio gave the single more than a chance, but the lack of the actual single / video and other promotional material made it bleed out far too soon.

There must have been some issues behind the scenes, I honestly don't think they planned it all like this Especially after the mad first NLOTH promotion week.

Let's hope the next single will be launched properly. I think Crazy will be the next on the list and I hope they just release the single worldwide and not too long after the radio release. Because that is what I think destroyed the last single's survival chances.

On the other hand I am still more than happy with the album. (It rocks ) They don't have to score high in the charts to get to me. But in my opinion there was a lot more potention in NLOTH.
  11. This could've been the greatest hit of the year...
