1. I for one do not want a rotating stage. Just think they're kind of cheesy. Bands who use rotating stages/drumsets just remind me of Rush or Motley Crue and that is not a good thing. Don't want that at a U2 concert.
  2. it just got some height :

  3. Looks like a rollercoaster.... fuck yes.
  4. Looks barmy - I'd have been quite happy with an Elevation/Vertigo-esque setup personally lol...not quite sure what I make of this whole project.

would you really want a repeat of the last two tours? I was a bit skeptical of this at first, but seeing this thing in real life. i think it looks fucking awesome and monstrous. rock and roll doggie!

I don't know, but I just know that my favourite gigs have been indoors on basic stages lol. Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna milk this for all it's worth seeing as they'll be my first U2 gigs, but I sometimes wish I'd been able to get to an Elevation or Vertigo gig at the time, and I guess I'd been hoping for sometihng similar. This is going to be incredible, for sure, but I...meh lol.
  7. It looks like it's even more widespread. I made a simple Photoshop-edit placing the 3D stage into this picture. That tower in the centre isn't build yet on the photo.

This thing inside the relatively small Don Valley is gonna be hilarious me thinks.

  9. lol yeah, at least I won't be missing much by sitting down seeing as I'll be pretty much in Bono's face anyway
