    I was a boots subscriber as well, unfortunantly Toronto is a smaller venue, so my guess is less GA's were available. Im just happy to be going, and with the money i saved i can go to a potential night 2 Won't be able to make it to Giants stadium sadly doesnt fit me into the college schedule unfortunantly

    Two nights is awesome as well! That's too bad that the closer show didn't fit in your schedule. Anyway, have fun at your show man!

    If you dont want to select any of the tix, you simply make sure your basket is empty and log out and that you dont buy anything, that will leave you the 4 tix still to buy .... but ask u2.com to be sure ...

    I tried tix for milan, but did not complete sale, asked moderator and she quickly saw that my code was marked, unused .. leaving the way open for barcelona .... (horizon code)

    please read the faq at u2.com they give you explanation etc .... you can get 4 tix for one show, or one ticket for 4 different shows .... or 2 and 2 etc

    but be aware that there is loads of demand, and the boots group is growing all the time ...
    the trick to get tickets is now out in the open, I mean it was already, but now it is even advertised on ticketmaster sites ... become member of u2.com if you want tix .... ... but with tens of thousands of people all becoming boots group .... you should simply wait your turn, and yes, you cant prevent people from getting multiple boots accounts .... as long as it is different people I guess ,... so .. that group is endless ...

    I guess the whole of ireland has by now become a boots member ... so I am not gonna do that .... thought about making my mum a member .. I mean I will be in dublin for nr 1 and 2 offcourse I want to be at nr 3 also ,...
    and bear in mind for croke 3 they will have to keep some for the regular sale.... trough the outlets, or the crowd will go mad ....

    I would advise patience, and interconect beforehand, set up trades, make wise use of your code, but as you can pick 4 different concerts in the usa you are less likely to need to trade ...
    and and with regular sales .... dont be greedy .... dont take max nr of tix, 1 or 2 at the time i'd say

    AND read about what you paid for .... it might help ...

  5. Well, I got seats at the Chicago gig. They are located on section 220 of the stadium with full view of "The Claw". I'm psyched seeing as this is my first U2 gig, but I wish I was on the floor.

    Oh, well... I'm seeing U2!

    You calmed me a bit, as well as everyone here, but I'm still haveing anxiety and stress over all this and I will continue to until my mission is complete!
    I feel more stupid I didn't renew my subscription when they sent the email, now I have Boots and by the looks of things, I have less of a chance to get GA! Boo, for Boots!!....

    I'm looking at getting four tickets for Tampa, and two for Dallas! I have my presale code and I made my brother purchase a subscription, so we have two codes!
    I'm more worried about Tampa because we want GA and there's four of us!! This would be my first GA U2 Show so I'm really hoping it happens but now with all this Ticket Madness, all I can do is PRAY!!

    I will Pray for everyone here that is gonna have a heart attack like me.....
  12. My day with a U2 presale code.....lets rewinds 24 hours.

    Got up yesterday morning, log into u2.com to see how my fellow Horizon - U2 fans we're handling things and WTF? all over, one, two, three threads . 'PRESALE FOR GIANTS/BEARS and Patriot season ticket holders.

    FEAR!! I begin to scramble....where's the links, where’s the codes, what the hell is happening...how can this be.... DAMMIT have to go to WORK!
    Get to work at 7:30am and i'm in back to back meeting till 1pm......dang it.

    1:01 start checking other boards, presale sites.... sure enough, non- U2 presale have begun (Chicago, Boston, NY)....my heart begins pound, dang it other meeting......I start to do the math!..... 15K season ticket holders at 4 tickets each = 60K in tickets out the door... 2:00, it takes me a few minutes of reading all the threads but I get the ticket master links and access and horizon codes (Boston /NY)....scramble mode takes over multiple attempts for....cat 1 tickets....nothing

    5pm get home from work and log on.....second attempt fingers crossed.. NOTHING with the dang football presale codes......7:pm, a glimmer, a new best friend?, a Horizon presales members posts that GA seats are still available, ask her to confirm about 250 price seat, ......... no worry is the reply..... lots available in good locations..... I begin to 'Breathe', My presale goes in 12 hours.......

    (Go morning Breathe subscriber! its your day to by tickets) - MAGNIFICENT!
    5:30 wake up......log on, try football links and codes....nothing... we'll at least that’s good!, start to read the boards and you can tell that there is fear in the air......everyone’s concerned about GA , I want Cat 1.....DO A BIG DOUBLE TAKE AS I SEE THE TOUR PACKAGES FOR NY ARE SOLD OUT and not the entire show.(heart truly missed a beat!)

    7:55 (mountain time)(9:55 ny time)- sitting by the wife in her office as we get set to go.....where to first?.. boston or ny.... ny i reply, 'the tour packages has already sold out', going to be busy.... 10:00, no problems wait 2 min -get 2 excellent tickets, section 112 row 6, - SNATCH! proceed to payment.... 4 min later, error.... tickets are lost..... start over.... 10 MIN WAIT!!! just about to cry...nothing!!! all CAT 1 are gone....3rd try, nothing...4th try....section 130 row 21 - SNATCH and this time payment goes through... no issues!!

    8:20 (mountain time) here we come BOSTON-- 3 tries at cat 1 (nothing, not even singles) -OH CRAP - fear... best location is 97 tickets in 101/102/139/140, not what we want......one last try....... Section 136 Row 26 - SNATCH.

    at the end of the day.....4 tickets (total = $1001cdn) - Truly Magnificent! - (Heck flight from Edmonton to NY were only $1,350 return!)

    I thank you for letting me share my experience. I haven't missed a show in the NW states or British Columbia since I turned 16 (1989) and could drive to where the shows where... I'm done my GA long lines back in early 90's now that I'm married my wife insists on 'seats', so I save my pennies and 'treat' myself (and her) to vacations (strange how U2 is always playing in the same city!).... this year NY and Boston, back home to Vancouver in October and then maybe AUS of NY next spring.... or Europe..

    U2 has been a part of my life for 20+ years, I've met a lot of friends and no matter the age, skin colour, age, income level... at the end of the day it is the music that bring people together... over the next year I hope to meet some of you, as i have stated before if there is an Edmonton show in 2010, .......good times will be had and you'll have a new friend...
