I have over the years been helping out with several various sites like u2log.com, u2.se, atu2.com, u2mp3s.com, u2.com (!), u2wanderer.org, the Wire mailing list archive, my own (now defunkt) discography site, and others I cannot remember. I'm still involved in a few of the above sites to this day.
Like Zahn, kristbg, SEQ, DJ Rock 2000 and other fans I have made a number of U2 remixes, some of which have made it onto "Fruitlegs".

During PopMart I had the crazy idea to make my own tour t-shirt having "my" tour dates on the back under a PopMart arch, whose outline was lit up by a 128 LED running light display. The shirt drew strange and inquisitive looks wherever I went, and was even featured on Dutch TV the night before the Rotterdam premiere show. As I was among a group of fans chatting with the Edge outside the stadium after the Copenhagen show, Bono (being a few feet away surrounded by other fans) happened to see the shirt and "demanded" that he'd get to sign it. I actually heard him say something to that effect but didn't realize he was talking about my shirt until a friend pointed it out. Unfortunately, it didn't happen as other fans got in the way. But! After the second show in Dublin a few weeks later, as Bono came out to greet fans after the show, he was reminded about his earlier statement and graceously signed the t-shirt.

In not so surprising news I am also a collector of U2, mostly specializing in unique song versions and covers/third party remixes. I've shared some rare stuff around the Interwebs in the past and I hope to be able to do so in the future.
Having lived in the USA for some years now, I must say this. I wish there were as many well stocked second hand music stores here (regular releases, sure, but where are the promos??) as there is back in Sweden, my native country. Sniping and over-paying on ebay is pretty much second nature these days.
