    Yeah Pyro is grand
  2. Make sure you catch Matthew scream into his pickups during "Closer", too. One of the coolest live effects ever. He'll be holding the guitar up to his mouth
  3. Defo skipping O2 next week. Setlists just aren't there yet. May well do Slane for the madness of it all though.
  4. there coming to aus in march next yr, got my ticket today

Nothing new added. Crawl is an excellent show opener though, from personal experience. They really pull that off well.

Some friends of mine attended the show the other day, and I've received mixed reviews. For some, it was an outstanding concert with an amazing setlist... and for others, it lacked variety, old songs and some energy. What should I believe?

Some of your friends are early fans, the others are Sex On Fire fans.
  7. Last night's change-

King of the Rodeo is added after "Mary", which was normally followed by "The Immortals" and "The Bucket"- "The Bucket" has now been dropped.

Shame that one old song makes it in at the expense of another but i'd take Rodeo over half a mile an hour Bucket any day of the week.

The Bucket is probably my all time favorite Kings song. It's slower live, but I think it suits itself that way. I think it's groovy live.

Honestly, The Bucket isn't even 4 minutes long. Would it kill them to play 4 minutes longer and not drop another song?

It's too slow for me. I have a version from Berlin last summer and I had to check that the file was running ok because it was that slow.

I'll try a bootleg from the new tour if one pops up but im seriously not liking anything they are doing at the moment. Hope it changes though as the Kings are my go to when I get bored of U2 (which is often).

Agree to disagree, I suppose. I guess it makes it feel like a bigger song, for me? On a slightly happier note, they're filling arenas with "Molly's Chambers" epically. I've watched several videos from different arenas, and they've got that song on top of it's game. It sounds fantastic.
