The first 11 songs are much 'weaker' than the last 10...

They usually do more than 21 songs. I had 27 when I saw them, and most of the other shows had about 24 or 25.

Just because he says that, doesn't mean that it isn't going to happen.

  4. I just checked setlist.fm: the last concert and the one before that.

Hanson: 'Kings Of Leon are acting like pricks'

Isaac Hanson hits out at the Tennessee rockers over their recent cancelled shows

The eldest member of Hanson has hit out at the Kings Of Leon for their recent on and offstage antics.

The Tennessee band have shelved their US tour after frontman Caleb Followill stormed offstage in Dallas and has since been diagnosed with "exhaustion" and "vocal problems", but Isaac Hanson has said he believes the band are "running some risks".

He told WENN: "I have a hard time with musicians who act like pricks because it just makes me mad. If you’re actually making a living doing it [making music], pinch yourself every day, because it goes if you don’t love it and people will eventually get pissed off."

He continued: "I’m gonna call somebody out on it - the Kings Of Leon are running some risks. They’re irritating people and you can’t do that too much. Eventually the bad boy image affects fans’ willingness to show up. Their fans will get bummed out. Everybody has their demons, everyone has their challenges. I’m a bit of a hothead in certain circumstances, but you gotta temper it because your fans are there and they’ve paid good money to see a show, and you gotta bring it."

He also urged the Followills to sort it out and compared their problems to that of Oasis, saying he believed fans would be hesistant to show to Kings Of Leon gigs in future if things continued as they are. He added: "They [Oasis] got that too and it hurt them ultimately, because it made it hard for people to have a lot of fun at their shows - because they were worried that Noel [Gallagher] was gonna get pissed off and walk off."

Kings Of Leon's tour cancellation set to cost over $15 million

Caleb Followill's 'exhaustion' will set the band's insurers back a lot of cash

The Tennessee band cancelled the remaining dates of their North American tour on Monday (August 1), citing frontman Caleb Followill's "vocal issues and exhaustion" as the reason for shelving the dates, but face an expensive payout as a result.

The band's insurer Lloyd's, who are based in London, are bracing themselves to fork out the money to ticketgoers who will demand refunds and for various fees involved in a tour's cancellation.

Though "exhaustion" has been given as the official reason for the tour's cancellation, a report in US Weekly has suggested that Followill's bandmates are concerned that he is drinking "like a a fish" and have urged him to check into rehab.

A spokesman for the band has denied this, however, saying:

The reason for the cancellation of the tour is Caleb is under doctor's orders for vocal rest. They feel terrible about cancelling. They look forward to getting back on the road at the end of September

The band's bassist Jared Followill and drummer Nathan have also issued denials that Kings Of Leon are planning to split up, but have admitted that the band have "big problems".
  7. They deserve to be criticised and grilled. This attitude from them stinks.
  8. I listened to Beyonce's version of Sex On Fire from Glastonbury again, and fuck my previous opinion: it's really amazing.

Any news on the band? Did Caleb finally check into rehab or something?
  9. A friend of mine saw them in Toronto a month ago (maybe little more) and said it was an average performance. I haven't head a thing about them since the news above.
  10. i saw them last month, they play the music well, but as far as the whole experience is concerned it was pretty shit. They dont talk at all, didnt even say thankyou or goodbye, just walked off the stage. They need to watch some U2 and Foo Fighters concerts to see how u interact with a crowd.
  11. I didn't know they were touring again! Good news for the fans.....I guess.
