  1. Hey folks,

    Only been getting into music for the last few years but one thing that struck me was how I've yet to hear anything like 'Mofo' - a song that combines catchy rock with a techno backbeat but still has the lyrics of a highly emotional and personal nature.

    Anyone able to recommend any decent groups/ songs of a similar kind of nature?

    Would be greatly appreciated.

    ** Note I know Mofo is unique but if there's anything kinda similar I'd be keen to give it a listen to**

    Also delighted that the backbeat hasn't been stolen for some rap song (so far as I know...)
  2. it may just be me but i think Depeche Mode. Songs of Faith and Devotion / Ultra era. (Ironically this is like the same era as POP)

  5. I agree with the three already said New Order are best when in single form, so you might want to just get a best of. Everything NIN did in the nineties was gold, and the last two albums are great also.

    I can't stand them, but MOFO reminds me of their sound... I don't like it much either.
