How are things going in your country? Are you also worried?

And, on another matter, if this goes on the way it does now, do you think this can affect U2? In Mexico all crowded places are shut down at the moment, and if it breaks out in Spain (more than it is now) there is always a chance of a postponement. What if U2 can't play in a lot of cities all over the world?

A bunch of people here in New York are panicking like mad. The American Surgeon General released a statement a few days ago saying, "Guess what kills 40 thousand people every year? The flu!!"

It's tragic that some people have died from this, but it's really not all that different from normal influenza.

On a positive note, if one out of 832 students at my school gets it, we close down

    lol that was funny
  3. Okay, I'll try it here then...

Question;did anyone visit one or more U2360-show(s) and end up with the Mexican flu (a.k.a. swine-flu)??

I'm recovering as we speak, and doing the maths, I'm positive I caught it during the Amsterdam II show on July 21st. I know of at least one other fan who was there who was diagnosed with it as well, he unknowingly went to the Dublin shows after that.

So I guess the warm, damp, sweaty atmosphere (especially front parts of GA) can give you the shivers in more than one way

You were positively tested on the Mexican flu? Where were you standing?

    Are you a confirmed case?

Incubation time (from infection until outbreak) is 7 days with the Swine Flu.

I was at both Amsterdam shows squeezed into GA, then flew to Dublin, again doing GA. That's a week ago (7 days) and I have nothing. And I didn't bring it home with me as all of my family around here are still okay.

    What's your doctor saying?
  6. Even scientist here in Croatia confirmed that flu was probably released from laboratories...

We live in a mad world.

If thats true, thats only the tip of the iceberg. Laboratories can release any lethal diseases if they want to in case of a biologic war or so.

Thanks for freaking me out lmao
  9. Two blokes coming back from holiday in Spain are infected here in my hometown. Somehow, I'm not worried at all.
  10. I changed the name of the topic in order to be the general chatting place about the A Flu and/or H1N1 virus, and prevent more topics opened.

    Thanks
