U2 on a community centre rooftop in inner-city Dublin in July 1982, a free and unannounced gig they did for the locals' Inner City Looking On festival. The chap at the beginning is a man with a few pints on board who twice wandered onto the stage, such as it was, wanting to sing.

Just in time for U2's return to Dublin this week comes a photo exhibit of U2 performing a previously unknown rooftop concert in Dublin in 1982. Photographer Christine Bond will present a series of photos taken July 17, 1982, as U2 performed a free gig on a Sherriff Street rooftop as part of the "Inner City Looking On" festival. The show is "new," in the sense that it's never before been included in any official or unofficial lists of tour dates from that time period.
The photo exhibit runs from June 22nd to 29th at Gallery Above, 12 Castle Market, Dublin 2. It's open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, and admission is free. A limited edition run of prints will be sold during the exhibit. Ms. Bond has been kind enough to share a few of her black and white photos with @U2.
