Any idea? (I don't wanna carry a proffessional recording system of course)...

Some use IEM scanners. I dont know how expensive they are and if it is easy to record. Otherwise a good mic would do. But I wouldnt expect anything good outside the stadium to be honest.

Well, Bono has a flat there, doesn't he. From what Adam says in his video on U2.com, it is clear that they are rehearsing some songs - at least one - which have never been played live: something they thought would have been impossible to play live... I'm not sure it is Luminous Times (does it sound like it is impossible to play live?). Anyway, that's just about the right thing to say to increase fans expectations, which are already quite high...
  6. They're using their homes in the South of France as a base throughout the European leg so likely they'll be rehearsing there. And in Nou Camp soon of course.

Impossible to play live? Ok two songs I can get up with: Acrobat and When I Look At The World. Acrobat because it's never been played live (Edge says in U2 by U2: 'Acrobat never worked out live (wtf, never played live but OK), because I think this is not a song why people comes to a U2-gig) like WTF?

And When I Look because Edge don't know how to play this song since he recorded it.

My vote goes to Acrobat though.

Yes, I think we'd all be happy to hear it live. Not so sure about When I look at the world -- the snipped they once played after Bad was great, but I wouldn't include the full song in the set, especially if they aim at playing fresh and valid songs... So the question is: which fresh and valid (and seemingly difficult to play live) U2 songs haven't been played live yet? Including B-sides, of course, but excluding, perhaps, songs like Mercy (although I may well be wrong on that one). On the top of my head, I don't think there are that many options:

    - Lady with the spinning head?
    - Acrobat, of course
    - Electrical storm (hasn't it been played on the radio once? if yes, that can't be it)
    - JT B-sides
    - ?

    The hunt is open!!
  9. Anyone else struggling with the U2.com vids?

Edit: clip from 21 days countdown: No idea which song this could be
    20 days: can't open it.

Here comes Sergio to save Dieder

The song seems to be some kind of rehearsal of Stand Up Comedy
  11. Thank you Sergio. Indeed it sounds bit like Stand Up Comedy, do you know what the other one might be? The one which is called 'The Edged Multi-tasking' ?

    Thanks for posting
