1. Recently I received this "bootleg" from ahura999, a spanish user of this forum, and he sent it to me searching for information about it.

This seems to be some kind of dress rehearsal (it's a complete "show", all instruments and stuff are there, has a souncheck feeling, etc - there is even a noticeable metronome click-track), but he has compared them to the widely known soundchecks of the Elevation Tour and he thinks this is different to them all. I can't give him any further information... Can YOU help him?

  2. Hello it's a Rehearsal Show from "Miami 2001-03-22"

Here are some Info i Found..

NOTE: This is an awesome bootleg...it is a virtually flawless earpiece recording of the
final dress rehearsal before the Elevation Tour began. Sound quality is astounding...everything
is perfectly clear. Remember, this isn't a true concert - Bono doesn't have the crowd's
energy to push him along - but what it lacks in emotion is made up for by the "behind the
scenes" feeling that this recording gives the listener. Ever wondered what the band goes
through in the final stages of preparation for a tour? Listening to this bootleg will give
    you an excellent idea.

    Dan Morales comments:

This is what I call the 'Final Dress Rehearsal'...it's a full run-through of the concert -
from 'Just can't get enough' to 'Walk On'. They play '11 O'Clock Tick Tock' and play 'New
York' only to flub 1/5th the way into it and they have to start over. During 'Where The
Streets Have No Name', Bono begins to sing the song, but loses motivation and only speaks
the words (it's rather funny)...the 'ohhhh...oh, oh, oh' is also funny to hear. During
'Mysterious Ways', Bono doesn't really sing at all...but the rest of the band is going and
The Edge still has to sing his part. I am pretty sure this was recorded at the old Miami
Arena because Bono mentions the bums outside and buying them Kentucky Fried Chicken. After
the actual rehearsal, Bono talks for a while and then brings Jack Easlip (sp) a pastor and
asks that if anyone wants a blessing, they should come up to the front. There is 6:33 of
talk at the very end...first Bono, and then the Pastor (who delivers a Psalm which is may
be where Bono got the idea for the saying he goes into before 'Streets') It's from an earpiece
and it is quite good...although obviously there is no actual concert energy because it's
    not an actual concert.

There are other songs during which Bono doesn't sing along the entire time..."With Or Without
You" for one. Again, this bootleg is not like any others. It some ways that is a good thing,
in some ways that is a bad thing. However, there is no doubt that it is a truly unique recording.
