1. do people prefer...

    No Line On The Horizon as on the album

    or No Line On The Horizon 2 released as a single in one or two spots and can be seen at the link below:

    Personally prefer the album version as I believe it to be more emotionally evocative, and the change of lyrics isn't as good.

    Also while we're on it;

    Fast Cars, Xanax & Wine or Fast Cars (jacknife lee remix - below link if you're unfamiliar with it) - which is your favourite and why?

    Any other alternative versions you prefer to the album version? (Let's include Discotheque for the sake of it )

    All views welcome,
  2. I actually like all of them, including a "No Line On The Horizon 3" mixup done by a fan. They're all nice versions.
    But I listened to NLOTH 2 most so far.

    Same for Fast Cars / Xanax and Wine / Jacknife Lee. Here I listened to the Jacknife Lee version the most so far.
  3. I completely love Fast Cars mixed with Xanax And Wine (Fast Cars Jacknife Remix), I prefer it to both original songs

    First time I listened to the second version of NLOTH I disliked it, but now I listen to it pretty frequently. Also the NLOTH-3 (mix of 1 and 2 versions) made by Alex, a guy from this forum, is absolutely awesome, I listen to it even more often than NLOTH-1 (album version)...
  4. I'd be interested in hearing that version - is there a link?
  5. I prefer NLOTH 2
  6. Too "harsh" for me, I prefer the more smooth NLOTH-1 version... Even though I love that small synth ("tan-tan-tii-rii") on NLOTH
  7. I think both have their plus points, I can't really pick a favourite between the two - my personal favourite is the live version, although I think the guitar part needs a bit more definition.
