YEAH!!!! I'll agree forever with what you've said!!!
I'm a great JUVENTUS lover! And I've found a lot of similar aspects between "U2 style" and the so-called (in Italy) "Stile Juve". But I think you're right also when you say that they are both the best!!

But I want to tell you something more: Juventus fans of my generation ('89) and of some others have grown up with Alessandro Del Piero, today the most representative player of Juventus' long story. He is also the best example of the "Stile Juve", without any doubt! But don't you know that he has said: "Il gruppo musicale della mia vita è gli U2!" ("The music group of my life is U2")?

    I LOVE JUVENTUS = I LOVE ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO = I LOVE U2

Dear sadb7788, I'm happy there is another "Juventino" fan in this community!
I was born in 1984, so Del Piero is an ICON also for me, altough I must say my favourite player is Pavel Nedved!
It's great what Del Piero said about U2... by the way (although as Juventus fans we feel a sort of hate against Inter), you don't know that Materazzi said, after the victory of the Worl Cup last summer in Germany, the song inspired him was Beautiful Day! Isn't it great?
  7. Dinamo Zagreb from Croatia

    Man Utd from England

Yes! It is great that a U2 song has inspired an Italian football player in winning the World Cup, but I can't find many points in common between Materazzi and the U2! I mean, I can associate him with songs like "Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me", "Bullet the blue sky",... (Who knows about Materazzi's frequent prohibited blows during football matches, can understand me...)
So I am still sure of what I said before.

I hope I will keep in touch with you for the future!

I found a perfect song for what happened at the final of World Cup between Materazzi and Zidane... WAKE UP DEAD MAN...
    Do you agree??
  10. By far the best club in the world: AFC AJAX AMSTERDAM. I believe that they are among two or three other clubs (Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern München) in the world who have won every possible prize there is to win in football (nationally and internationally). And AFC AJAX AMSTERDAM is the only team from a small country; so they are most definitely the one and only number 1.

    I confirm!
  12. Sorry alfmlc, I don't know that song...
I have just read its lyric after I have read your reply, and I have the impression that it is a really great song!
But I have never listened to it, so I can't agree with you about what you've said. Sorry!

But the only one thing that is important about the last World Cup is that....
    ITALIA CAMPIONE DEL MONDO!!!!
I hope that Remy will not get angry reading this reply... But... in the future... one day... also Holland will win another World Championship!
For these four years WE are THE CHAMPIONS!!!!
