Ronaldo's goal vs. Villa wasn't difficult. Hell, the amount of times me and my mates used to do those kinda things is unreal, but it's just that he happened to do it in a situation where any particular show of skill (whatever level) gets lauded to the rooftops. In a pre-season friendly recently, Darrel Russell (a midfielder for Norwich) scored an absolute beauty from 20 odd yards out, far left hand side, where he curled it right into the far hand side. Now, if it had been say Gerrard, Ronaldo, Berbatov etc. in a Premiership match, it would be getting touted as goal of the season or something. That's how fucking stupid football is these days...

I heard rumors of desagrement with Van Basten but not such a news (we are kind of 3 year late her in Canada when it comes to soccer ^^)

Van Basten is now coach of Ajax, Bert van Marwijk is the new coach of the Dutch football team. But that has nothing to do with it, Ruud just think he can't combine playing for Real Madrid with playing for the national team anymore, because it's too heavy and he wants to concentrate completely on his club.
