1. its an avi file so most DVD burners will be abLe to copy it on to a DVD
  2. Neither NeroStartSmart, DVD Santa or Sonic Digital Media recognise the avi. file. Any suggestions?
  3. No you can't stick an AVI straight onto a DVD - you need to convert it to VOB.

    You can if you burn it as data DVD. If the video codec used in the avi was divx or xvid and your DVD player supports these formats, you'll be able to play the disc in your player then.

  9. DVDFlick is a great program to throw an AVI on a DVD and play it on a player. Totally free, easy to use. Just make sure you select "burn project to disc" in the settings menu.
