  2. There were loads of cameras in the Nou Camp last night - saw a few video cameras as well - guess if the camera is small enough then might be a good idea to keep it somewhere they wont search you as you go in

U2.com says only point and shoot camera are allowed. So just mobile phones and compact cameras are allowed. I would love to bring my Sony A300 with 18-70mm lens to the show for some awesome wide-angle shots...but I won't succeed bringing it in.
  4. Any hints or tips to smuggle a Sony A300 into the stadium?

  5. Lens down yourr trousers (baggy obviously.... ). Body in a roomy jacket.

Seriously. They are not doing strip searches or frisking. You'll be fine.

The lens won't be a problem, but the body...
Must be quite a roomy jacket to store it unnoticed. But I could try. Wonder if there are any veterans here who've done this before?
  7. My father entered to Tuesdays' show with his huge Nikon D-70 hanging by his neck, not even hidden or unassembled. A big wide-angle lens and the full body of the camera. And they didn't even complain about it, they just registered us for bottles and so.

    Interesting....

I'm definitely taking my compact. It will be good enough.

Oh boy...that's some news. Gonna try it nevertheless now I read this.

  10. Make sure it's insured in case they confiscate it...

Are you seated? I'm looking forward to your pics now....

  11. Well, they aren't allowed to confiscate it in that way that you won't see it again. It's your property. But I'll insure it nevertheless.

And yes, I have seats for the first gig so I was planning to bring my wide angle lens with me. Just read some Flickr-discussions and it's quite tricky though. Might look for a photo-pass...
  12. Ahh great my dads Leica digital will be allowed
