1. I'm actually almost impressed by tonights version of With Or Without You...still needs Shine like Stars

  2. I agree with that....should be killer by the end of the tour
  3. I'm liking the tenor bit in Magnificent much better than his attempt to sing Pavarotti's part in Miss Sarajevo last tour.
  4. And it's bad that I'm hoping for something even less likely to happen than Acrobat...a Native Son snippet during Vertigo (the long held out note instead of the "All of this can be yours" section)...*sigh* oh well...

I agree, tonight's WOWY was better than the previous 2...but it's still lacking the Shine Like Stars snippet...hopefully they'll figure that out soon. And MOS is sounding good.
  5. morning, all I just spent 15 minutes reading all the pages here from last night's gig.... and I read fast, but you guys post faster than I can read LOL

so what was that about Drowning Man, still not played yet..... saving it for tonight? or Amsterdam, hopefully?
  6. Great vids again

  7. that's true. just watched Magnificent and I wanna hear more of that opera voice as the tour continues

  8. He probably did because it was Milan, love it too though

  9. yeah, that might be true. but then, he did the Pavarotti part in Milan last tour... and in Munich as well here's to hope. Bono doing tenor on a Saturday night in Dublin would be awesome...
  10. Just some confirmations quickly (I was at the show):
Party Girl with Bono's daughter Eve, who had a birthday. "She's not a little girl anymore, she's a big little girl now" Bono and Eve having a champagne toast on stage. Playing Happy Birthday also.
The sign during Unknown Caller was actually "3:33". Bono saw it and said "Turn on the lights Willie, I wanna see these folks!", pointing fingers to the grandstand. The sign was organized by u2place.com.
Stand by me started as a snippet to ISHFWILF and ended as a full band almost complete song, I never saw that since ZooTV.
Bono played harmonica at the end of In a Little While (or was it end of Angel of Harlem? OOPS )
