1. U2gigs don't have it in theirs so it might be a dirty joke.
  2. Hi guys

Just arrived here and saw the setlist. I have to say that it's my favourite one

    Greetings from Brazil

i did the friday night gig...

i was sat behind the stage, near the top, and i admit i was quite surprised how many empty seats there were, and how empty the standing area was behind the stage, but according to U2.com it was a record crowd of 90,000!

my personal highlights for the show were: -

    magnificent
    beautiful day
    elevation
    still havent found
    unknown caller
    city of blinding lights
    vertigo
    crazy tonight remix
    sunday bloody sunday
    pride
    walk on
    mysterious ways
    one
    ultraviolet
    with or without you

Still Haven't Found was superb- the crowd singing on their own (loudly) and in time for quite a lengthy period. Mysterious ways was also great.

People shouldn't be too worried about the number of empty seats- it's a huge stadium and only a few were empty. GA in front of the stage was packed. When I saw Muse at the stadium it was a lot emptier and they filmed it and made a dvd out of it. I'm also beginning to think that sound quality varies depending where you are in the stadium as some people said there was an echo.
  4. how about opening the sheffield topic. thats gonna be the show thatwill be broadcasted and i'm certainly looking forward to a brilliant sounding bootleg of this tour.
  5. Just got back from my first U2 concert, it was mental as! Was the only person to be sitting on shoulders at the beginning when they came on so got a good view! Did anyone see me in a red jacket? lol

Effects were emense, crowd were emense and best of all the band were absolutley brilliant!

    Best first concert ever!

Not that I'm worrying in the first place but again, agreed. Re. the echo though, it was much more noticeable during the support in my opinion, especially The Hours, but I actually felt that which I picked up just added to the gig as a whole, you could feel everything going on and the sound as a whole just set something off inside. Awesome.
  7. Yeah, there was a snippet from A Day Without Me in The Unforgettable Fire- you can see it in the U2Gigs video of the song...it's during the bridge- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anazCrfkwcY (at about 3:24). Pretty cool!
  8. Wow, Wembley 2 looks like one of the best sets so far, if not THE best set. Also quite a long show. Seems the band was also in great form.
  9. Totally blown away by Wembley 2, my 6th show this tour, my 35th concert since 1987 and I have to say I have not seen a better concert.

The setlist was fantastic - UTEOTW needs to be a staple - nice 1-2 with NYD after too.

Band on top form, atmosphere in the house was totally better than Friday night.

Streets - I have to say again is getting the treatment it deserves, fantastic to hear Bad again too

I am still buzzing as I write this - cannot wait for Cardiff next week now

I went to Dublin one (in the pit), Wembley one (seated behind red zone) and Wembley 2 in the pit......I have to say..........Dublin 1 was the best concert I had ever been to and I thought I would ever go to.....................

......until last night...........it really was an unbeatable concert...the crowd and band were just amazing......I was just gutted when moment of surrender ended...the energy in the pit was abosolutely crazy!

And vertigo.......i never listen to this song ever on my ipod......but that performance yesterday was the best performance of any song...ever.....maybe it was just where I was standing...but everyone around me totally lost it!
