1. Ask the Edge, I doubt Bono could play that solo.
  2. I expect a Stay or a EBTTRT...

But I know I will get an Electrical Storm or a Party Girl instead

  3. I'm satisfied with the first one, still amazed they pulled it off. But I get what you mean..
  4. I'm not even satisfied with ES, they fucked up the chorus with that horrible chords
  5. They really surprised me with ES... very powerfull
  6. I think U2 are making a big mistake by not using their live set-up to replay some of the old 90's stuff. I mean honestly where is the Achtung stuff and where is the Pop stuff? Yes there are 2 or 3 they are playing but only really 1 of them is worthy enough for the live set-up they have. Also like someone said earlier, where is New Year's Day? and where's Out of Control and Eletric Co? Why the hell are we having SBS, One, Pride and WOWY which are long overdue a break?

C'mon U2 I know you said a change of heart comes slow, but jesus I didn't think you meant literally.
  7. The Fly á la Elevation would be something under the Claw assuming they brought back the whole lights thing but seeing as Bono said he reckoned they'd nailed it during Vertigo, fat chance lol. I quite like the way they've 'reinvented' the AB tracks to replicate the original album versions, it's quite nostalgic (e.g. UV and Mysterious Ways). ES wasn't perfect in execution but hey they brought it out of the cupboard, that's something in itself. If Edge could come up with a more workable chorus part they'd be laughing.

  8. So did the radio station end up broadcasting the actual concert or not?

  9. Even Better would kick ass too
  10. When the band do stadium tours up to about 70% of the crowd could be casual observers who have a greatest hits CD and thats all so to keep them happy out come Pride, One WOWY etc. Obviously they have to play new stuff to help the sales push so that leaves only a small selection of possibly 4-5 songs to play around with. Whilst I am looking forward to Cardiff and Wembley 1 I feel dissapointed with what I have read about the tour so far the set is hardly changing due to all the technology and presets needed at the various points in the songs, Edge dosnt seem to be playing keyboards due to Terrys understage presence (what does he do during the majority of TUF now that the edge orchestra is no more) and Breathe is not the kickass opener they need and the encore is to short. Maybe Im to harsh and Im sure I will come home from my gigs buzzing but for now the jury is still out and has been since NLOTH and its promo campaign didnt generate the usual U2 SALES
