    Jay-Z and all the thing enolving the Berlin wall really changed the song...The result was an awesome performance and a great atmosphere

    One of the best SBS ever in my opinion, specally when listening to it and watching those beautiful images...

  7. Gotta give Jay-Z some more props. He is really talented and adds to the song well.

    What I think most people hate about rap is its oversaturation in our culture. Especially America. However, it doesn't mean that there aren't any talented artists in rap and hip-hop. Jay-Z is one of them.

    Couldn't have said it better. Jay-Z clearly understands U2's purpose with the song at this event, and offers his talents to enhance the performance.

    It's just frustrating to see Lil' Wayne all lyke YEA-YUH! And every "gangsta" in America thinks "he is the shyte".

    I must say I'm fairly impressed by this powerful performance. Proves yet again that this classic really rocks again nowadays. Also kudos to Jay-Z to add some real meaningful lines and power. This certainly worked well.
  10. Don't know if anyone saw Jay-Z receive his award for Best Urban Artist but he spoke about just making music and not trying to class it in a genre. He said something along the lines as 'just like Green Day, just like Lady Gaga' or something.

    He has worked with a rock band before in Linkin Park, and I think he discovered Rhianna so he works with 'pop' as well.

    Just an amazingly talented man. With quite a fit wife too.
