  2. Shouldn't be a problem. Stage is already there, sound system lights and screens were probably on the 54 trucks that left Croke this morning.

  3. I don't get it. the trucks/stadium needs to get out of the city either way.. whether people demonstrate or not just let them leave, for god's sake. I live next to a truck repair station, they come and go. doesn't bother me (even with opened window). and those who live around croke shoulda known what they're getting themselves into, living next to a stadium...

It's not only about the trucks. It's the whole deconstruction noise that the residents have to bear 44 hours nonstop.
I for one would be pissed if Lady Gaga played in my street, resulting in 2 days of constant noise while the stage gets constructed, constant noise before, during and after 3 concerts in 4 days, constant noise during 2 days of stage deconstruction. Not to mention the thousands of people that march through and piss into my frontyard.
And I think that it was pretty hard to predict where you get yourself into when you moved there in the 60's...

It's all blown out of proportion anyway. Nothing better than a good headline.
  5. I think this whole protest issue before and after the Croke gigs by the residents is just plain stupid, sorry to say that. No meanings to insult them, just my thoughts here. They live next to the stadium, so what's the problem. Yes, the sound was carried all over the North side, and yes the grass of the field was damaged. But they'll get new one (from England, imagine that, another reason to get upset) with U2 paying their share of it, and the band drew almost a quarter of a million people into the city who left a whole lot of money there. Talk about economics. The residents should just make up their minds and not fuss about that every time again and again. People behaved well when leaving the area around the stadium, so no harm was done.

  6. ...and to get back on topic: beautiful stadium there in Gothenburg what's the capacity?

  7. 60000. The screen will be seen from outside the stadium. Haha.

  8. haha that was exactly my thought. I'd totally sit outside and watch if I lived there and didn't have a ticket
  9. Cant they use one of the other 2 Claws in Göthenburg?
