  2. Not sure if it was already mentioned, but heard that screen didnt go down on the first night, because of the stormy wind. So seems no technical glitch.

    What a great gig!
    Of course I cant compare to much else seens it was my first date
    But I think it speaks for itself in that sense
    Btw, to the nice man and his wife/girlfriend who was seated next to us

    Even the journalists here said so, more exciting setlist for one thing

  4. It's 12 pm in Gothenburg, so they could had go on for another 20 minutes or so.


    So..I was at the second show, and choosed the right one. Everything was apparently better; Perfomance-wise, weather-wise, audience-wise. I said before I would kill one of the band members if they dropped UF, so when they started playing ES i knew it was off. But ES was one of the highlights from the show, amazing to hear that song live. Best version so far! But when Bono said they're going for a "never played song" I thought for a second of Drowning Man, haha. Well, it was a "first time played in Gothenburg"-song.
    His memory can't be THAT bad? Even if they only played it twice before? It's not the first time he says so.

    ES, NYD, SBS, Vertigo, Stay and actually Crazy Remix was the highlights for me. Too bad people didn't seem to know Stay and ES, at least at the seats. The contrasts was so big, everyone singing and dancing to ISHFWILF (which was dedicated to our beautiful Princess Madeleine, present at the show), NYD, WOWY, SBS and One. But for songs like UV, Stay, Walk On and the new songs a lot of people just sat down and looked bored. What a shame.




    Boots (the papers here hates this song, I agree), COBL and UV (sloppy) was the letdowns for me. All in all a classic marvelous show though, at least 100 per cent better than 2005 in Gothenburg,

    Bono's memory isn't that good.. Most of the time

  7. Crowd loved it everywhere, especially the intro. Surprises me every time but it works. Kind of.


  8. Yeah but I don't like Magnificent that much but if everyone goes crazy besides me I'm not going to stand still. So that plays a role as well (is that even correct English)

    Yep right about that one. Ah well, they have to play it anyway.
  10. Boots is wayy better than Magnificent - Magnificents the weakest of the new songs live IMO, its quite creepy. Boots is like a super dooper vertigo upgrade. If only they had a better view on Stand Up Comedy.

    (love the fact ES got played here, really really want to hear that, hopefully a good bootleg of this show comes through.. please someone!!!!)

    Magnificent reminds me of like a techno Streets. Haha. i like it and dislike it for that. Its never gonna be like Pride or One in status. imo.
  12. There are again some nice new videos on youtube from the concert. I taped the first one as well with my Panasonic (not HD unfortunately but very good quality nonetheless). I'll share it soon on u2torrents. Anyhow,anyone know if the Swedish forum is planning to do a multi cam mix ? The shows really deserve it!
