You'll live...U2 have better songs than Elevation, plus were you there? If you were then have a whinge but be glad it's been recorded for posterity.

Heyy I love that ooh part in Magnificent He can reach it somewhat Especially in early versions like Milan and the Promo tour. And no, Elevation should not be dropped, it should be played randomly

Indeed - actually having been there, I personally don't give a toss lol. To be honest, I've not noticed nor have I listened out for it when listening again. For all I remember, he might not actually have had the mike to his mouth at all and was just letting the crowd do it, on the other hand he might have been. I was too busy actually just enjoying myself to think "oh Bono is/isn't making the 'ooohs', I might have to cry etc.' On the whole, I'd say his voice has been in damned good nick for the amount of crap he puts it through and one moment in a show doesn't make or break it on its own (in my humble opinion). Just my tuppence worth.

There is a new Fixed Version on U2torrents.

    Recorded by MyPetWookie
    Fixed by miguelca

Note by miguelca: this recording had left/right channels swapped, resulting in a strange sound with The Edge on the right speaker. I've fixed this and asked for MyPetWookie's permission to upload it. Thank him and thank All_I_Need too for fixing the Vertigo track.

Lineage (MyPetWookie - before fix): Hallam FM Radio Broadcast > PC Line In > Audacity > WAV > Split Tracks > Flac Level 6 SB Aligned.
Lineage (miguelca - fix): TLH decode to WAV > Adobe Audition 3.0 (Effects, Stereo Imagery, Channel Mixer, Swap Channels) > TLH encode to FLAC Level 6 SB Aligned and generate .ffp

I have it too, but I'm already lost in the maze of recordings. If this one is best, I'll gladly share it though.

Depends from the point of view maybe.

To me, Radio Forth is best because a) it's flawless b) it was recorded using good equipment.

Hallam FM was recorded directly to HD and I wouldn't recommend that. Computers tend to fail when you don't want them to, in this case it caused a skip in Vertigo which without a doubt is patched poorly.

Slight EQ differences. Radio North has slightly too much presence, maybe Hallam is superior in that department.

But in general, all are by far the worst FM's I've ever heard so it doesn't matter too much which screwed-up trash you choose.
