1. But Your Blue Room is?

As much as I like Window In The Skies, I'd agree it doesn't suit the current tour but then you never know. I'd say it's got a small to very small chance of ever being played considering it was only to promote a Greatest Hits set, same as The Saints Are Coming and Wave of Sorrow - not so much a Greatest Hits but a remaster.

Your Blue Room is a much better song and worked better than I thought live.

The crowd, on the other hand - anyone that was at the shows they've played it on, how did they react? Recordings really don't give that great an impression.

Delighted as in they can't believe the band are now realising there were better songs on Passengers than Miss Sarajevo?

Is the reason for confusion amongst the US audience the same for Unknown Caller?

I have no idea but I can see why the song worked better in Europe.
  7. They played Your Blue Room the first night in T.O. and, although it is a nice song, I thought it brought about a bit of a lull in the show judging from the (lack of) reaction in the crowd. It was followed by Unknown Caller which also didn't work to well from my perspective. To be honest, I don't like the audience karaoke style of the performance. They then went to Until the End of the World and it was smooth sailing from then on.

I was there the first time they played it! Mind you, I was down on the outer rail that night with people who knew what they were hearing, and we all went nuts, but the rest of the stadium most decidedly did not. Bono was on the bridge as the song ended, and then there was a moment of awkward silence until Bono whipped around with that look on his face he gets occasionally when he is Most Displeased and made the "fucking applaud now, you bastards" gesture. Then there was applause.

That first night in TO was a particularly crappy crowd though. I don't think you can take that as representative of audiences in general.

  11. I'm hanging out for Beach Sequence.

Pretty weird isn't it that deep into the 2nd leg Passengers gets a few guernseys leaving Boy and Pop (and October for that matter) languishing on big fat 0's.

Not since ZooTV has Boy been so neglected.

Which song/s from Boy do you think would work in the current tour's format? I could see Electric Co slotting in quite well.
