1. Hi all,

I live in Budapest so mine is SO FAR

    Zagreb 346x2=692 km
    Vienna 243x2=486 km
    Athens air distance 1106x2=2212 km
    Rome air distance 811x2=1622 km

    So it's 5012 km
  2. Mine was 209 miles lol, nothing near some of the distances clocked up here but I did only see them in UK.

For those working in kilometres, 336km.
  3. 5,200 return, so about 2,600 one way? That's Melbourne to Brisbane, to Melbourne, to Sydney, to Melbourne to Home

Seriously considering being an independent young man and going on a trip to see them in the US next year though, even though I'm poor, never been on holiday anywhere on my own before and I suck at organising stuff. Can't be too hard?

Go for it! Not only will you end up seeing U2 live, but you'll have learnt something new for the future and will have experience planning trips abroad when it is required in life.

Thanks! Yeah even though I haven't even seen U2 live yet, I would guess (and know from all the stories on here) that seeing them in another country would be fair cool!

And I wouldn't mind seeing the awesome sights in America! Do most of you guys go on your own on these trips? or have other fans go with you?

Nothing's too hard and you should never feel limited in anything. Sounds like a great trip, have fun! I would have gone on my own to Melbourne and then over to Sydney but of course my family decided they wanted to join me and unfortunately limited me to Melbourne 1, even though they told me that we'd leave on the 3rd in the morning - but noticeably decided to stay until the 4th? So I miss out on Melbourne 2!!!

So you're going to the Melbourne 1 show then?
  7. Thanks, I will have fun, if I go

That sucks about Melbourne 2, but yeah I'm going to Melbourne 1 in the GA

  8. Might see ya there then - who knows. Anyway we can always ask if they're on u2start - or would that just be weird?

  9. Yeah sure thing! And nah I don't think that'd be too weird

  10. I'll just take a random guess and ask everyone I can in there. Jay-Z's set surely should provide enough time for that.

I'll try and catch up with some of you lot here, if I can.
  11. Ha yeah! ask everyone?! It's not too unlikely we'll meet people we've talked to on U2 forums before I wouldn't think though!
  12. Enter the stadium with helium balloons, then just look around for a balloon floating above someone else's head.
