So they can just fuck off.

Oh, it is half a myth methinks.
You know that millions of years ago, before mankind existed the earth was waaayyyy hotter than it is now?

Sure, the warming-up goes a tad faster since humanity started to use technology and cars became more common and such, but the part humanity plays in the whole environmental thing is really really really small...

But of course, if we make sure that small part doesnt fuck up too much it's a good thing anyhow
  2. It's probably fair to point out that U2 don't exactly tour often lol...but yeah, it's not great for the environment, but that said, nothing really is these days. What can y'do.

    Pretty much.
  3. There's no way to get around what they're doing. Radiohead ensured that their equipment traveled by boat to minimize the environmental impact. Something like a concert tour is always going to have a big impact, though. Eco-nazis seem to forget that there are some unavoidable needs for petrol and carbon-footprint making.

I wonder how much of global warming is actually man made. People seem to forget that our planet has undergone eras of glaciers, volcanoes, etc. Not to mention that there are now more trees in New York & New England than there were 200 years ago. I'd give the environmentalist types more credit if they weren't (not all of them, but certainly a large part) a load of pretentious ideologues.

Well, it's kinda unavoidable that airplanes use up a shitload more fuel in one flight than a hell of a lot of a cars. One idea that seriously appeals to me is mahoosive hot air balloons. Fill 'em up with helium or the kinda gas that WON'T explode, and we're sorted

Thats actually quite a good idea.
  7. Build more electric trains ot that japanese thing and be happy.
Seriously, it is amazing how much meaningless stuff they find to make "shocking" news...I wonder if there were ever people who were serious about journalism.

  8. If there were, the events in Iran would not have been knocked off the front page by a second by second account of Michael Jackson.
