Very true. I won't listen to it the same way ever again on the radio.
  2. Yeah just like Space Oddity is now associated with the excitement before the show begins. When I listen to it I can almost hear the rumble of the crowd and see the stage and a stadium full of people and all those things... it's great

I virtually can't listen to Space Oddity without having very strong goosebumps!

Great thanks (just checked back after a while).

I loved Hooting and Howling but didn't know who it was! And Fever Ray is great too.

Wasn't it towards the end just 1-2 songs before Space Oddity?

If you skip forward to 14.08 you'll hear a song in the background that's new to the DJ set list and played pre & post opening act. No idea what it is though.

The video's by a really nice bloke from San Fran who follows U2 across the globe; really, really knows his stuff. Is he a member online here?

Finally this is a really great tune from the DJ - thanks to him /her for introducing me to this.

As you said, a lot of stuff from Arcade Fire's newest album and REM. Between Muse and U2, I cleary remember to listen to Ready To Start (Arcade Fire), Satisfaction (Stones) and Machu Picchu (Strokes).
  7. Bit off again, but... I loved that at Zagreb 1 they played Exodus after the show as the crowd was leaving the stadium

  8. Wow, that's a nice joke by the DJs
  9. Whose music is on as the group goes in? Sounds like Elton John but I suspect it is not!
    Thanks!

This video was taken on de 2nd concert at Mexico City.
  10. I only remember two songs from Mexico city, well, three with Space Oddity.

They played Morning Mr. Magpie by Radiohead

And Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones....
  11. Wedge,

that's Space Oddity from His Majesty David Bowie
  12. Any developments on this since the start of the leg?
