Hey all! I haven't posted here in quite some time, but felt like this was a special occasion. We managed to plan a family vacation to France, and I was able to attend Paris 7-12-2009. Flying out from LAX, we were able to see the Theme Building that inspired the Claw.
Here's a picture during City of Blinding Lights...
And then a search in maps of Google France showed me a real Rue du Marais near central Paris!
And of course, on the way out, we had to find Hall 2F in CDG airport
Anyway, just wanted to point out that even though many streets named Rue du Marais exist...it's unlikely that the one I visited was referenced to in No Line On the Horizon. It was in a heavily residential area. Oh well. Cheers!
