    I'm sure many of you will have already seen this, but for those who haven't it's a cover of Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" that was organised by the BBC in 1997. The artists involved include our very own Bono, David Bowie, Elton John and Lou Reed himself.

    any thoughts?

  3. i liked it alot, think i have the single kicking around somewhere, i didn't know it was Bono either until a few years back, though i was only 7 when it came out so didn't really care

  6. God yer i remember this as i was 25 ,i have a version of bono just singing it so ill have to root it out and upload,,,popmart era...The BBC were doing a big promo for something or other

    It was initially to promote the BBC's diverse musical coverage at the time,hence different musical artists,different genre's etc.Then due to public demand,it was released as a single and ended up being that years Children In Need charity single.....
