Promising Dutch band with an Irish singer. Based in Amsterdam, they released their first album, called Shorland, in 2007. The sound is comparable with Oasis, Keane and Depeche Mode. I personally rate them higher than Keane. The band consists of singer Felix Maginn, guitarist Phil Tilli, drummer Rob Klerkx, bassman Marcin Felis and keyboardplayer Eddy Steeneken.
In September, they will release their 2nd album, called The Long And Dangerous Sea. The first single, Switch, is released today and on 3FM radio it was already played. A huge Depeche Mode-feel in this one:
