  3. No. It has been snippeted several times. Also has been rehearsed several times during this tour but didn't find it's way in the set (luckily).

  6. I agree with you, this song is worthy of being in War, but not worthy to be played on any occasion, has no logic...

Perhaps they thought it would really put a damper on the part of the show they wished to include it in....It obviously wouldn't have been in the opening third of the show, but I could see it being either in the middle, around where they frequently put "Stuck", or towards the end where "Sunday Bloody Sunday" was (not replacing it, but right around it)...the last third of the show was said to be a much more politically-vibed performance, and "Drowning Man" is on War...

    Anyway, I think the most probable scenario was that it was replaced by "Angel of Harlem", which I believe was right after ISHFWILY. (Based on rehearsal setlists I've seen)...they probably didn't want people taking a pee break so early in the show, especially right after one of their biggest songs ever.

    I'M not personally saying the song is boring- I'd love to hear that live just as much as "Your Blue Room" (which I'm also a fan of)...but stadium shows mean everybody that wants a ticket more or less gets one, which means casual fans are evvvvvverywhere.

I remember when Your Blue Room started playing at the Toronto show I was at (yay), I was ecstatic, as were the few guys behind me that were, how to say, "true U2 fans", themselves. You know you're with a fellow U2 fan when he starts singing "Exodus" at the end of still haven't found It was good to be with a fellow diehard. Anyway, when your blue room started playing (2nd time played live), we went nuts, the 4 or 5 of us, and so did some other people, but there were lines of poeple going to get beer, and i said to the guy like "do these people not understand how big of a moment this is? Or how amazing this song is?" and he was like "yeah, screw em'". Honestly, Your Blue Room for me was better than seeing Bad live. That was my first show, and only one i've seen so far, and i would've loved to see Bad, but seeing Your Blue Room was worth the sacrifice. Amazing. Just as Drowning Man would've been amazing.
  9. What a missed opportunity this was. It may have killed any set it was in but I would loved to have heard this.

  11. Regarding Drowning Man. "Supposedly" they could not find a spot in the setlist where they thought it would not kill the momentum of the show completely.
