1. I have got 2 tickets for Sheffield on Thursday, now as they were bought at separate times they have different gates numbers on them.

What I wanted to know is, will me and my son be able to go through one of the gates together, or will we have to go through our own gates?

If we had to go through our own gates, would there be officials about for my son to stand with whilst I went through my gate?

    Thanks
  2. Most venues so far have all had different gate numbers on the tickets but typically only 1 main GA queue. Barcelona officials ordered us to our gates once we had got through the main gate (where everybody queued together) but Dublin had 1 queue and only 1 GA entrance so you and your young one should be fine

Are you GA? 'Cause at Wembley, there were two gates (B & C) that were cordoned off for GA alone and so you should be ok to get in together. That said, it may well be different at Sheff. but there should be officials on duty, there were plenty at Wembley.
  4. In Amsterdam there were two queues, we lined up at the wrong one/gate and asked if that was a problem. It wasn't, they won't check if you're at the right gate usually.
  5. wembley had these electronic readers, the three GA gates A, B and F each had a diffferent bar code which would only work for that gate, but maybe Don Valley will only have hand turnstiles
  6. Paris had barcoded tickets that were only valid at the correct gates, my mate and I tried to go in together but could not.

Sheffield tickets do not have barcodes so I think that it will be less of a problem. If your son is a minor and there does turn out to be a problem , speak to one of the stewards and they I am sure that they will do something to assist.

I agree - if your son is young enough for you to be worried about him queueing on his own then there should be no problem as long as you front up to an official as soon as you get there.
  8. hi just been on the don valley website GA can use any entrance in stadium
  9. Thanks everyone for your replies to my question, my son is 12 hence the reason for my asking.

However thanks to the person who said they found info about the gates on the Don Valley website.
