    If you want the hardcopy then order, if you want the softcopy then it will no doubt appear here and there in the next few weeks...each dvd is 4.3gig so make sure you have the bandwidth for torrents, and its seeded well.

    postage costs are included in the prices, packaging, dvd case, 2 x dvd`s and print design.
    cover is avaliable here for download or on the website.

    please note: I`ll take the orders until sunday night, then i`ll package the orders for Tuesday onwards deliveries depending on location.
    after these have gone out i`ll do the orders from monday onwards...hopefully they will appear for download pretty soon...

    i will package 3 sets to jay, he can then send copies to arnoud and u2biggestfan.
    also if possible i would like to send one to the admin here for distribution and viewing..so a pm would be handy with an address!....

    for those who recieve the DVD`s....i hope you enjoy them, they certainly capture the 14th and 15th very well....just wish i had the audio for the 14th in the same quality as the 15th and sheffield....i guess we cant have everything!....

    on the whole project...its been.....tough!....alot of editing, alot of downloading, alot of listening, alot of work!....4hours of U2!!!.....and all i can still hear is `password enter here`..you no your name`....driving me nutz!....

    time for some rest and let the computer do some work now!!!!...

  10. Gen, are you getting anything out of this besides pure satisfaction and pride? I feel like we should be paying you for more than just the dvd. I mean I know that's illegal, and not cool, however in this case I feel some form of "material" gratitude is necessary. You've basically worked your ass off for all of us, your work is freakin amazing, and you're not exactly getting anything out of it besides the things I mentioned. Those are all well and good, cudos for sure, however I still feel like we should buy you tickets to a U2 show or something.

    Would anyone else agree?

    Thanks for the offer....

    i guess you would be all buying eachother tickets then?....it was done because someone here requested it....sometimes making one person happy can have a ripple effect.
    thanks to all members here for some great material, community is a word that seems to have been left in the past with Hovis!!!....it was alot of work, but a pleasure....so you are welcome.

    The intention was to provide you guys with some decent memories from a superb tour....one member here said he had settled down with his missus, bottle of wine and had an evening watching the u2`ubed dvd, and had a great night......that for me is better than any other reason to do these edits.....



    some things that did not happen on these DVD`s:
    no 5.1 surround....the extra audio cut the compression ratio too much so was left from the 15th.
    we also planned to `over-dub` the 14th with audio from sheffield/15th...this would act as a second track on the dvd, giving the viewer the option to choose real or `clear fake` audio channels....again this was put on ice due to disc space....
    we will probably offer a 5.1 ac3 file in the future of the 15th and hope to overdub the 14th should better audio appear at a later date.

    14th
    contains silly amount of edits...audio `as good as its gonna get`...DVD gets better as it goes, pace of edits works well with the energy of the show....vertigo is wild!
    better to watch this DVD first.

    15th
    contains less edits, but still moves well, audio is very good with extra overdubs of crowd, DVD is short, sweet and very good loud!....
    watch this DVD second.

    extras
    contained on the 15th DVD...12 tracks from the band...audio varied but in general good>very good.

    both DVD`s have, chapters, custom menus, intro/outro clips and credits.
