    I just made my first snowman

  6. There's plenty of snow here in the UK and it's lying too. The news says not to go out, unless you really need to!
  7. Is "To lie" the verb that's used where the snow begins to actually grow upon the ground? I though it was To settle...


  8. both, I use settle but i don't see a problem with using 'to lie'.

    EDIT: actually i would use "lie" for the long term, "that snows being lying there for weeks"

    In other news, I managed to land on a sizeable rock why sledding and my lower back is killing me It got so cold so quickly too Snow falling heavily again though
