  5. Speaking of misheard lyrics I only found out today that in UTEOTW he sings "I was drowning the sorrows". I always thought it was drowning my sorrows for some reason, maybe he sings it live that way.
  6. I have always sung "drowning my sorrows" because I learnt the lyrics from my parent's Achtung Baby vynil sleeve:




    I have checked my AB's CD and the lyrics are exactly the same as on the vynil, saying "my sorrows". But hearing the album version of the song, I couldn't tell if he says my or the, although I would bet on "the". It obviously sings "my" on the live version though.
